I think a reason why we all love to look at and capture shadows is because of the playfulness and non-permanent nature of them. It’s a moment in time that can never be duplicated, like watching a cloud change shape. There is a lovely connection to childhood in that aspect of slowing down to even see and enjoy a shadow at play. I thought there was a real artistry to some of these images I found.
