I’m so in love with the imagery from the Christopher Kane pre-fall 2017 campaign. Immediately I assumed it was shot in an elementary school and thought “what a great idea!”, given my penchant for little kid’s artwork. I was happy to learn that it was actually photographed at the Gugging Gallery in Vienna, Austria – a gallery and artists’ house for Art Brut. One of my most memorable and favourite classes at university was Perspectives on Outsider Art, Theory & Practice and I do have a fondness for loose, unrefined art, so I am loving this connection. Anyway, the colours, clothes, concept and photography are giving out nothing but good vibes, no?

Photographer Laurence Ellis captures a beautiful quality in her images, doesn’t she? There is a softness and raw naturalness that is so stunning. I’m newly obsessed.
