One of my favourite memories from my childhood on the prairies was the drive home from my abuela’s house at night; I would lie back in the passenger seat and just quietly be lulled by the coloured street lights against the trees and sky. I’m not sure if that’s why these long exposure images of traffic lights are speaking to me or if it’s the chilly Sydney nights or…all the Fargo I’ve been watching. I love the eerie, soft cinematic quality to these captures, especially the ones with snow.
