Artist Vilde Rolfsen collected plastic bags found discarded on the street and photographed them in new light as beautifully eerie landscapes. Taking them out of context to highlight the throw away nature of today’s society and bringing an awareness for change, while finding beauty in the mundane. Though the no longer humble plastic bag photographs so beautifully (I’m personally obsessed), we will have to start showcasing the delicate qualities of a canvas tote and #banthebag. Kind of like photos of French girls smoking cigarettes, we now know it’s wrong, but it just looks so cool. As do these plastic bag landscapes:
