20c56c8499e6aa16ff810f6b2964ea10There’s something about an old neon sign that makes me a little giddy.  The colour combinations, the simple messages inscribed in old-fashioned fonts.  They are beautiful, seemingly innocent relics but also feel hopeful for the future…how can you not daydream about an American road trip when looking at these?  They definitely make me want to check out the neon museum in Las Vegas, where they preserve the signs and their history.  They also make me think fondly of favourite movies…and they remind me of home.
